Jelly Bean Prayer
Green is for the grass He made,
Yellow is for the sun so bright,
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the Sin we made
White is for the Grace He Gave
Purple is for the hour of sorrow,
Pink is for the new tomorrow.
A bag full of Jelly Beans...Colorful and sweet!
It’s a Prayer...It's a promise…
It's a yummy Easter Treat!
Last year I made bags of jelly beans with this little poem in it to pass out in Charlotte’s Preschool class. It is a great way to teach children the Gospel message in a fun and creative way. You will be surprised at how quickly they actually can memorize it too!
Enjoy your Jelly Beans!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! We don't do jelly beans here, but I'm going to snag this poem for a different craft for Easter so I can share the meaning with the girls!
