Don’t miss the great giveaway going on on my review site!
Personally, I think it is never too early to introduce household chores… especially when these little llamas are making most the mess.
Especially when cleaning is so much fun with a new
cleaning toy in the house!
What do the above canisters and my new Swiffer Sweeper Vac have in common? Check out my review site to see what I think about this brand new Sweeper Vac !
AND you won’t want to miss the chance to win
a $40 gift card to buy your own!
Hi Mama Llama! I just love your blog! I saw you were having your kids help with chores, and I thought I'd share something I found in Family Fun magazine that my daughter loves--Daddy Dollars! We went on the festisite.com/money website and put in my husband's picture on a $1 bill. Whenever my 4-year-old does something good without being told, she earns a Daddy Dollar. When she gets to $100, she gets a special outing... waterpark, movie, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to post this idea on my blog soon, but haven't got around to it yet.
Cheers,
Bean Lady

Never too early to start enforcing chores. Great job. I started a new chore chart system recently. You can find it at http://weloveiowa.blogspot.com/2009/11/day-313-action-and-reaction-ebb-and.html.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS to say hello and check out your blog....love it! Hope you have a great weekend and if you get a chance stop by our blog and help us raise money for Earth Day Network with a click :)
ReplyDeleteI'm over the age of 4...many times! Happy SITS day to you and I hope you didn't get rain like we are now in WA state. It's pouring outside! I live up near Bellingham, WA, close to the Canadian border. We have alpacas nearby that have adorable little ones just born. They're outside in tiny blanket coats to keep them warm. Today they're probably in a warm, heated stall with their mothers.
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS Saturday! I saw your blog and just finished reading "Llama Llama Red Pajama" to my 3 year old so I thought it was a good fit. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm now a follower!

Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the late reply. :)
ReplyDeleteYup, never too early to start teaching them doing little tasks. I remember my mom would give us rewards each time we complete a simple chores and tasks. And sometimes she made each chores like a "game" or competition. U
